Although we run a great number of trips and party options, we specialize in angling along the prolific grounds of the North West coast of Ireland. We have won numerous “Best Skipper” prizes in local angling competitions and always have the best competition placing’s on board!

We also hold the national record for the 2nd best tope caught in Ireland (Irish Specimen Fish record book) and have also caught the heaviest known skate landed in Ireland in the last 10 years (Largest fish landed, measured, photo’ed and estimated at between 190-210 lbs – average 200lbs). We also have numerous placing’s with the specimen fish committee for wrasse, spurdog and other specimens.

For the advanced angler, other species can be caught too! If you wish to catch another species, just ask the skipper and he will tell you the best options on the day according to weather, time of year and tides (he loves the challenge of a species hunt)! The skipper is also happy to pass on his experience of decades of angling and assist you in improving your angling skill and getting what you came for.

For your safety and utmost peace of mind, your skipper has decades of commercial and angling experience worldwide, and is a fully qualified RNLI lifeboat helm and is the Sligo Bay Lifeboat Station Mechanic.

We run trips from 2 hours to 8 hours so you’re sure to find the option which best suits you.
