Loop Head is renowned as being one of the best fishing grounds in Western Europe. Located at the mouth of the Shannon Estuary, there is the choice of fishing up the Estuary in sheltered waters or out into the open Atlantic Ocean.

Up to ten different fish species have been caught in one day. These include Cod, Pollock, Ling, Haddock, Whiting, Mackerel, Hake, Ray, Tope and Shark.

Go Fishing Sea Angling Centre Operates a 38ft Aquastar named the M.V Deva. The boat is owned and skippered by local fisherman Michael Fennell who has 25 years experience in commercial fishing and angling.

The M.V Deva is berthed in the scenic village of Kilbaha, the nearest harbour to Loop Head with a long tradition of fishing. Michael, with his knowledge of the local fishing grounds, can have you in the best fishing locations within fifteen minutes.

The M.V Deva is licensed to carry 12 anglers with a full range of modern fish finding and safety gear.
