Onyer Marks Sea Fishing Charters has been operating for over twenty years in south west Scotland, we have three boats, each taking four anglers at 25 Knots. We specialise in tope, common skate, smoothound and light tackle Pollack fishing and often run species hunt which can produce 20 species in a day. Bull huss and spurdog are also caught in large numbers. Double figure Bass also turn up from time to time. A growing market for us is “Pollack on the Fly” which produced fish of 9lb 10oz and 10lb 4 oz for Scottish angler Alex Wilkie. Alex also caught the first ever “Tope on the Fly”; a target I am sure many will want to match in the 2014 season. The biggest tope off the 2013 season was 76 pounds but we have had numerous fish over the magical 80 pounds in previous years. The early spring run of tope can produce very high numbers with two lads boating over 100 tope to 35 pounds in just two days. In June 2013 Onyer Marks and Onyer Marks Too caught over 300 tope in a week.
